Gregg Meller is a fresh voice who has found early success with his dark and deep spins on classic genre tales. Prior to filmmaking, Meller obtained a BS in aerospace engineering, but was inevitably drawn to film through his inspirations from Sam Peckinpah and John Carpenter. A graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts MFA program, his thesis film “A Killer of Men” has played in festivals around the country and has been featured on numerous websites.
He has developed projects for a wide range of production companies, from his horror/thriller “Flightmare” for Present Pictures to his post-apocalyptic western series “Brimstone” for Secret Hideout. His Sci-Fi Horror Script “Ascension” is currently in post-production with Vertical Road Pictures and E.P. Max Borenstein. One By One will mark his feature directing debut.
